About

Hi, I’m Deb. Wife, mom, grandmom, nurse—and now, apparently, a blogger. I didn’t plan on starting a blog, but God has a way of nudging you into things you never saw coming (like writing devotionals between trauma calls and laundry loads).

I’ve lived through more chaos than a hospital waiting room on a full moon and somehow, I’m still standing—mostly upright, mostly caffeinated, and always clinging to grace. Faith Over Chaos is my way of processing the mess, sharing the miracles, and reminding you (and myself) that God is still good, even when life feels upside down.

I write with honesty, humor, and a whole lot of Eden Thinking—a spiritual mindset that helps me walk with God through the wild. It’s not about polished perfection. It’s about presence. Eden Thinking reminds me that even in the weeds, God still walks with us. But if you’re looking for real stories, real Scripture, and real hope, welcome to the garden.

Let’s walk together—toward peace, purpose, and maybe a few sarcastic side comments along the way. Don’t worry, there’s grace in the soil.

I’m Deb

Welcome to Faith Over Chaos, my cozy corner of the internet for anyone who loves Jesus, wrestles with control, and gets distracted by spiritual squirrels. We dig deep, wander often, and somehow still find our way back to peace!
